Product Setup

Timing

1 Hour

Start

  1. Wash your hands in hot soapy water before beginning your service.
  1. Have your guest use the hand sanitizer or wash hands
  1. Perform the Start to finish consultation procedure with your guest
  1. While you are performing the Start to Finish, look over the guest’s hands and nails for  any cuts, abrasions or infections. If they have any cuts or abrasions, continue the  manicure wearing gloves on your hands.  If they have any infections, discontinue the service and reschedule for another time when they have healthy hands.

  1. Begin by removing shine off with file
  1. Soak cotton in acetone
  1. Apply to each nail wrap in foil
  1. Apply a warm wet towel over hand.  Wait 10 minutes to dissolve polish
  1. Remove cotton and foil one finger at a time and push off polish with a metal pusher
  1. Repeat procedure if necessary
  1. Buff remaining polish off
  1. Wipe off all fingers with warm wet towel
  1. Remove product thoroughly from each from each hand.
  1. Thoroughly clean and disinfect implements 10 minutes.
  1. Disinfect station area.

REMOVAL NAIL TIPS

Product Setup

Timing

1 Hour

Start

  1. Wash your hands, put on gloves
  2. Guest use hand-sanitizer or wash hands
  3. Perform Start to Finish consultation with client.  Make sure you are looking over the hands and nails for any cuts, abrasions, infections
  4. Teacher consult
  5. Using 100 grit file gently file all nails to remove some of the artificial nail, clip if necessary
  6. Saturate a piece of cotton with acetone and place nail and wrap in foil, continue with rest of nails
  7. Wrap hands in hot towel 10 min to dissolve gel
  8. Remove foil and cotton one nail at a time push gel off metal pusher, if not repeat acetone, foil and warm towel until cool
  9. File and repeat until gel is all removed
  10. Buff nails gently to smooth
  11. Wipe off nails with warm wet towel and apply cuticle oil to all nails and massage in
  12. Do closing procedures
  13. Clean and disinfect area and implements

FULL SET/TIPS GEL

Timing

2 HOUR

Start

  1. Wash your hands with hot soapy water beginning of your service
  2. Guest use hand-sanitizer or wash hands
  3. Perform Start to Finish consultation with client.  Make sure you are looking over the hands and nails for any cuts, abrasions, infections
  4. Teacher consult
  5. Push back cuticle, if needed trim cuticle
  6. Remove nail shine with buffer
  7. Brush off excess dust with lint free cotton wipe
  8. Apply deyhdrator to all nails
  9. Properly choose nail tips (not to big, not to small)
  10. Starting with pinky apply drop of nail glue to the well of the nail tip, using stop, rock and roll method, apply nail tip to client nail
  11. Cut and file to desired shape
  12. Using 180 grit gently blend the tip to natural nail and remove shine
  13. Use buffer for final smoothing
  14. Wipe dust from all nails using dry lint free wipe
  15. Apply bonder to all nails and cure 1 minute
  16. Using gel brush, apply thin coat of gel to all fingers on one hand making sure you are blending tips, cure for 1 minute
  17. If needed apply another thin coat making sure smooth and blended cure for 1 minute
  18. Use alcholol and lint free wipe to removce tacky layer from each nail
  19. Use buffer for final smoothing
  20. Apply cuticle oil or polish
  21. Perform start to finish closing technique
  22. Clean and disinfectant all work area

Timing

30 MINS

Start

  1. Wash your hands with hot soapy water beginning of your service
  2. Guest use hand-sanitizer or wash hands
  3. Perform Start to Finish consultation with client.  Make sure you are looking over the hands and nails for any cuts, abrasions, infections
  4. Teacher consult
  5. Using 180 grit file gently file all nails to remove top layer of existing polish
  6. Saturate a piece of cotton with acetone and place nail and wrap in foil, continue with rest of nails
  7. Wrap hands in hot towel until cool
  8. Remove foil and cotton one nail at a time, check if polish can easily be removed with metal pusher, if not repeat acetone, foil and warm towel until cool
  9. After all polish removed client wash hands
  10. Buff nails
  11. Apply dehydrator
  12. Apply fuse and cure
  13. Apply base coat and cure
  14. Apply first coat of color, cure and repeat again for second coat
  15. Apply top coat and cure
  16. Wipe nails with alcholol
  17. Do closing procedures

  2. Guest use hand-sanitizer or wash hands
  3. Perform Start to Finish consultation with client.  Make sure you are looking over the hands and nails for any cuts, abrasions, infections
  4. Teacher consult
  5. The hand you pick up will be the order in which you will perform all of the steps the pinky to the thumb
  6. Remove any exsisting nail polish with non-acetone polish remover and cotton
  7. Buff the nails
  8. Have client wash their hands no soap, then use alchohol to dry out the nails
  9. Apply fuse, and cure under light
  10. Apply 1 coat of base, cure nails
  11. Apply first coat of color, cure and repeat again for second coat
  12. Apply top coat and cure
  13. Wipe nails with alcholol
  14. Do closing procedures

PEDICURE RADIANCE WITH GEL

Pedicure tub, 6 Purple towels, 4-hot towels, hand sanitizer, non-acetone polish remover, cotton, ¼” cuticle nipper, metal cuticle pusher, toenail clipper, pedicure slippers, foot file, cuticle eliminator, spatula, 180 grit file, disposable buffer squares, polish (if applicable), Gel polish, fuse, base and topcoat, 2 plastic bags

 

Product Setup

1 tsp. Scrub 1/2 tsp heel therapy, 1 tsp. foot soak, 2 tsp mask, 1 tbsp lotion

Timing

1 HOUR 15 MIN

Start

  1. Wash your hands in hot soapy water before beginning your service
  1. Fill the pedicure tub with warm water, put 1 tsp. of foot soak
  1. Perform the Start to Finish consultation procedure with your guest
  1. While you are performing the Start to Finish, look over the guest’s feet, legs and nails for any cuts, abrasions or infections. If they have any cuts or abrasions, continue the pedicure wearing gloves on your hands.  If they have any infections, discontinue the     service and reschedule for another time when they are healthy
  1. Have the guest put both feet into the pedicure tub. Adjust the water temperature as needed. Let the guest soak for approximately 5 minutes
  1. The foot that you pick up will be the order in which you will perform all the steps.   Preferably working from the outside in on each foot (smallest toe to largest)
  1. Towel dry their foot, begin by removing any nail polish on the nails with non-acetone  polish remover and cotton. Consult with Instructor
  1. Shorten any nails with the toenail clipper if needed. Shape the nails with the 180-grit file in the shape determined
  1. Apply ½ tsp scrub on one foot and then the other wrap warm towel each foot
  1. Put both feet into the water to remove scrub
  1. Apply ½ tsp. mask to foot avoid toes. Put plastic bags on and wrap in warm towels
  1. Put both feet in water to remove mask
  1. Gently massage one drop of cuticle eliminator on each nail at the cuticle area and push back the cuticles use nipper if necessary. Use the foot file and gently file any  callused areas.  Put foot back in water, repeat on other foot, put back n water, remove both feet and dry thoroughly
  1. Clean under free edge, buff nails, apply dehydrator and alcohol on both feet
  1. Apply gel product, fuse, base, gel polish, topcoat. Be sure to cure each product on  both feet
  1. Wipe off tacky layer with alcohol
  1. Apply heel therapy and massage in, apply lotion to leg and foot and gently massage.  Repeat on other foot
  1. Perform start to finish closing technique

19..  Thoroughly wash and disinfect implements 10 minutes 

  1. Disinfect area and pedicure tub completely

Finish

1.  Recommend they rebook with you for their next pedicure appointment  according to the condition of their feet.  They should be booking appointment before they leave the establishment

2. Discuss them using cuticle oil to refresh the toes and to keep from looking dry
