Product Setup

1 tsp. Scrub,1 tsp. Foot Soak, 1tbsp Lotion, 2 tbsp Mask, 1 tsp heel therapy

Timing

1 HOUR 15 MIN

Start

  1. Wash your hands in hot soapy water before beginning your service
  1. Fill the pedicure tub with warm water, put 1 tsp. of foot soak
  1. Perform the Start to Finish consultation procedure with your guest
  1. While you are performing the Start to Finish, look over the guest’s feet, legs and nails for any cuts, abrasions or infections. If they have any cuts or abrasions, continue the  pedicure wearing gloves on your hands.  If they have any infections, discontinue the     service and reschedule for another time when they are healthy
  1. Have the guest put both feet into the pedicure tub. Adjust the water temperature as needed. Let the guest soak for pproximately 5 minutes
  1. The foot that you pick up will be the order in which you will perform all of the steps.    Preferably working from the outside in on each foot (smallest toe to largest)
  1. Towel dry their foot, begin by removing any nail polish on the nails with non-acetone polish remover and cotton. Consult with Instructor
  1. Shorten any nails with the toenail clipper if needed. Shape the nails with the 180-grit file in the shape determined
  1. Apply 1/2 tsp. Scrub to their foot, massaging the scrub in. Wrap a hot towel  around their foot and set aside. Repeat on the other leg and foot
  1. Put both feet in water to remove scrub
  1. Gently massage one drop of cuticle eliminator on each nail at the cuticle area and push back the cuticles use nipper if necessary. Use the foot file and gently file any callused areas.  Repeat on the other foot
  1. Apply 1/2 tsp. of mask on one foot and then the other put plastic bag and warm towel each foot, Leave mask on 3-5 min
  1. Put both feet in water to gently remove mask from feet
  1. Apply heel therapy and massage in, apply lotion and gently massage their leg and foot, repeat on other foot
  1. Remove any excess oil with polish remover. Clean under free edge, clean nails with non-acetone. Put pedicure slippers on the guests’ feet, wrap cotton in between the toes if needed
  1. Apply one coat of base coat, two coats of color (optional) and one coat of topcoat on all nails. Clean up any excess polish on the nails with the cuticle pusher, cotton and non-acetone remover
  1. Perform the Start to finish closing technique
  1. Thoroughly wash all implements in hot soapy water and immerse in a disinfectant for 10 minutes
  1. Thoroughly clean all areas with a disinfectant and use the proper procedures for disinfecting the pedicure tub

Finish

1.  Recommend they rebook with you for their next pedicure appointment  according to the condition of their feet.  They should be booking appointment before they leave the establishment

2. Discuss them using cuticle oil to refresh the toes and to keep from looking dry

  1. Clean under free edge. Buff, apply dehydrator & alcohol on both feet
  1. Apply gel product, fuse, base, gel polish, and topcoat, be sure to cure each product- both feet
  1. Wipe tacky layer with alcohol
  1. Apply lotion with spatula to one foot and leg follow with massage
  1. Repeat on other foot and leg
  1. Perform start to finish closing technique
  1. Thoroughly wash and disinfect implements – 10 minutes
  1. Disinfect area and pedicure tub completely

  1. Repeat on the other leg and foot. Make sure the nails are completely dry and free from any product, clean under free edge, clean nails with non-acetone put pedicure slippers on the guests’ feet, wrap cotton in between the toes
  1. Apply one coat of base coat, two coats of color (optional) and one coat of topcoat on all nails. Clean up any excess polish on the nails with the cuticle pusher, cotton and  non-acetone remover
  1. Perform the Start to Finish closing technique
  1. Thoroughly wash all implements in hot soapy water and immerse in a disinfectant for 10 minutes
  1. Thoroughly clean all areas with a disinfectant and use the proper procedures for disinfecting the pedicure tub

MANICURE RADIANCE WITH GEL

  1. Begin by removing any nail polish on the nails with non-acetone polish remover and Cotton. Consult an Instructor 
  1. On one hand shorten any nails with the nail clipper if needed
  1. Gently massage one of cuticle eliminator on each nail at the cuticle area.  Repeat 7 & 8 on other hand
  1. Push back the cuticles on both hands with the cuticle pusher and nip any excess skin with a nipper if necessary. Repeat on other hand. Have client wash hands
  1. Clean under free edge. Buff nails, apply dehydrator and alcohol to both hands
  1. Apply gel product. Fuse, base, gel polish, topcoat, cure each product both hands
  1. Wipe off tacky layer with alcohol
  1. Using the small spatula, apply the mask to the underside of the right hand, palm and fingers.  Then turn their palm down and apply to the top side of their hand and fingers. Put a plastic bag over their hand and wrap a warm towel around their hand.      Repeat on the other hand. Let the mask set on for approximately 5 minutes
  1. After 5 minutes, remove the hot towel on the right hand and remove any mask, repeat on the other hand
  1. Apply lotion into hands with spatula to warm then massage one hand and arm. Repeat on other arm and hand 
  1. Perform start to finish closing technique
  1. Thoroughly clean all areas with a disinfectant
  1. Thoroughly wash all implements in hot soapy water and immerse in a disinfectant for  10 minutes
